Independent recording artists Bill Dutcher and Jay Poole have put together a crew of established Phoenix musicians for an evening of original music that weaves jazz, blues, country, bluegrass, Middle Eastern, and rock music into a tapestry of melodies that takes the listener on a journey through the mind.

The Local Spirits (Dutcher, Geoff Jouas, Mark Miracle, and Tracy Mortimer) bring a fresh approach to instrumental music by weaving acoustic guitar and mandolin harmonies into rhythms grounded in fretless bass and drums and percussion instruments. They will perform music from their self-titled release.

Jay Poole and Almost Eleven is a crack team of the Valley’s most in-demand musicians: guitarist Poole, Tony King (Young Country, JTM3) on percussion, Marcus Weeden (the Pickup Lines) on bass, and multiple Blues Society Award winner Jesse Weston on keys. The group approaches its instrumental music with a fresh perspective and engaging, energetic performances. They will perform music from their albums, Tenure, Part One, Tenure, Part Two, and Tenure, Part Three.
