Tickets on sale to the public April 4 at 10:00 a.m.

PHOENIX (March 18, 2024) — The MIM Music Theater is excited to announce its Summer 2024 Concert Series, with tickets on sale to the public Thursday, April 4, at 10:00 a.m. The series, which runs May through August, includes more than 40 concerts from multiple genres and features artists from around the world.

This season’s highlights include performances by Robby Krieger, the founding guitarist of the Doors; Grammy-winning jazz vocalist Cécile McLorin Salvant; long-running big band jazz group the Count Basie Orchestra, performing with special guest Nnenna Freelon; and Grammy-winning bluegrass fiddler Michael Cleveland with his band, Flamekeeper.

The Summer 2024 Concert Series also features exciting debut performances at the MIM Music Theater. Among the newcomers are Grammy-nominated blues musician Cedric Burnside, renowned Korean kayagŭm performer Seo Jungmin, American Idol winners Ruben Studdard and Candice Glover, Chris Barron of the alternative rock band Spin Doctors, and Australian rock band the Church.

Several favorites will also return to the MIM Music Theater, including Grammy-winning jazz fusion outfit the Steve Gadd Band; celebrated zydeco group C. J. Chenier and the Red Hot Louisiana Band; Grammy-winning country group Riders in the Sky; Jamaican ska legends the Skatalites; Japanese pianist Keiko Matsui; Grammy-winning bluegrass musician Molly Tuttle with her band, Golden Highway; and Band 2, which features Tim Ries and Bernard Fowler, longtime members of the Rolling Stones’ touring band.

Circle of Friends members who give $250 or more annually can buy tickets at the Summer 2024 Concert Series Premiere on Wednesday, March 27. Members who give $250 or more also enjoy exclusive member benefits year-round, including advance purchase opportunities for concerts and invitations to concert series preview events with MIM’s artistic director. Members who give $500 or more annually also receive 10% off concert tickets.
