Tickets on sale to the public on March 30 at 10:00 a.m.

PHOENIX (March 17, 2023)  The MIM Music Theater is proud to announce its Summer 2023 Concert Series, with tickets on sale to the public on Thursday, March 30, at 10:00 a.m. The series, which runs May through September, includes more than 30 concerts from multiple genres and features artists from around the world.

This season’s highlights include Grammy-winning jazz guitarist Al Di Meola, Grammy-winning R&B singer Peabo Bryson, Phoenix-based rapper Mega Ran, legendary blues guitarist Eric Gales, and singer-songwriter A. J. Croce, who will be playing selections from the catalog of his father, influential folk musician Jim Croce.

The Summer 2023 Concert Series also welcomes several artists who will perform at the MIM Music Theater for the first time. New artists include Grammy-nominated jazz musician Chief Adjuah (formerly Christian Scott); dynamic orchestral trio the String Queens; Mighty Poplar, a new all-star roots project featuring Andrew Marlin of Watchhouse, Noam Pikelny and Chris Eldridge of the Punch Brothers, Greg Garrison of Leftover Salmon, and Alex Hargreaves, who performs with Billy Strings; and a special Frank Sinatra tribute led by new MIM artistic director Andrew Walesch and his orchestra.

Concertgoers can also look forward to the return of several favorites to the MIM Music Theater, including retro jazz singer and violinist Emmaline, platinum-selling songwriter Haley Reinhart, Grammy-winning vocal group the Manhattan Transfer, Grammy-nominated new age artist Ottmar Liebert and Luna Negra, and local jazz and R&B trio We3.

“The Summer 2023 Concert Series features a truly remarkable lineup,” Walesch says. “The variety of artists and genres featured marks one of the most sonically diverse lineups in MIM’s history. We are thrilled to present what is bound to be a wonderful summer full of unforgettable performances.”

Circle of Friends members who give $250 or more annually can by tickets at the Summer 2023 Concert Series Preview Event on Thursday, March 23.
