Craft: Bodhrán 9:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m. South El Río Make your own bodhrán—a traditional Irish drum that adds to the recognizable sound of Celtic music—and play along with the day’s performances!

Curator Talk: Distinctive Instruments for Iconic Musical Traditions 11:30 a.m.–noon Event Room 2 Join MIM curator Rich Walter for a discussion of specialized instrument types used in Irish traditional music and how their characteristics help define a sound recognized around the world.
Performance: Scott Jeffers 12:15–1:00 p.m. Main Courtyard Enjoy an energetic solo performance by violinist and vocalist Scott Jeffers of Traveler.
Performance: The Bracken School of Irish Dance 1:30–2:00 p.m. Main Courtyard Witness the high kicks and rhythmic footwork of Irish step dancing! Watch a performance by students from the Bracken School of Irish Dance.
Workshop: Irish Step Dancing 2:30–3:00 p.m. Event Room 2 Experience the thrill of Irish step dancing for yourself at a workshop presented by the Bracken School of Irish Dance!
Performance: Stilicho 3:15–4:00 p.m. Main Courtyard Experience traditional Irish, Scottish, and American folk music with local band Stilicho.
