Hansel and Gretel vs. The Witch is a fresh adaptation of Humperdinck’s classic opera, narrated by an adult Hansel who reveals the true story behind the gingerbread house. This fast-paced show’s familiar characters explore themes of personal growth and redemption. Opera 101 introduces students to opera through guided listening and storytelling, highlighting the power of the human voice and enriching students’ understanding of this timeless art form.
