PHOENIX (July 23, 2021) – The MIM Music Theater proudly announces its Fall 2021 Concert Series, with tickets on sale to the public on August 5 at 10:00 a.m. The new series, running from September through December, includes more than fifty concerts spanning multiple genres across the globe.

Highlights this season include Grammy-nominated blues vocalist Ruthie Foster; soul-baring singer-songwriters the Secret Sisters; Tinariwen, a unique ensemble creating desert rock with Arabic influences; Pamyua’s “Inuit soul music”; and one of the world’s foremost jazz vocalists, Kurt Elling.

The Fall 2021 Concert Series welcomes some artists who will be performing at the MIM Music Theater for the first time. New artists include Quinteto Astor Piazzolla, a quintet exploring the vast repertoire of renowned Argentinian composer Astor Piazzolla; Nick Waterhouse, an emerging vocalist and guitarist with a retro sound; Canadian folk-pop duo the Small Glories; and Jamaican ska band the Skatalites.

Concertgoers can also look forward to the return of several favorites to the MIM Music Theater, including Max Weinberg’s Jukebox, a truly interactive experience with a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame drummer; Grammy-winning Latin jazz pianist, singer, and songwriter Eliane Elias; the high-energy, contemporary blues-rock sound of Tommy Castro and the Painkillers; and innovative progressive Western swing band the Quebe Sisters.

The MIM Music Theater often presents over 290 concerts each year, and over 150 Grammy-winning artists have performed on its stage. Within the span of only ten years, the theater has been recognized as one of the top music venues of its size, anywhere in the world. Audiences and musicians have praised its unparalleled intimate atmosphere and acoustically superb sound quality.

“When you look at the MIM Music Theater, perhaps more so than any other theater in Phoenix, we have programming that isn’t just robust, it’s music of incredible quality that spans the entire world,” says Patrick Murphy, MIM Music Theater manager.

Tickets go on sale to members who give $250+ annually on Wednesday, July 28, at the Fall 2021 Concert Series Preview Event.
