MIM's new Encore Gallery serves primarily as a dedicated space for prekindergarten–2nd grade school tours to explore for an interactive musical experience.
Bang a gong, strum a Burmese harp, and play unique instruments from all corners of the world. The Experience and Encore Galleries give guests of all ages a hands-on opportunity to make their own music by playing instruments from around the world. While the Encore Gallery serves primarily as a dedicated space for young children and teachers to explore during field trips, it may also be opened to the public on busy days and for special events. The Experience Gallery, however, is open to all guests who want to play musical instruments from around the world. Guests do more than have fun trying their hand at new instruments. They participate in music being dramatically brought to life.
