Powerhouse multi-instrumentalist Vanessa Collier weaves funk, soul, rock, and blues into every performance. Collier’s 2024 album Do It My Own Way features soulful vocals, searing saxophone, and witty songwriting, with Memphis soul–influenced horn arrangements and poignant and powerful solos delivering a quietly powerful undercurrent to each song. Her vocals are powerful and awe-inspiring, giving advice to women and people who feel left out.

A 2013 graduate of the prestigious Berklee College of Music, Collier is blazing a trail and racking up impressive honors. She is a four-time Blues Music Award winner, including a 2022 win for Contemporary Blues Female Artist of the Year and a 2025 win for Blues Instrumentalist in the Horns category.
