Recognized for acclaimed albums such as 2020’s 25 Trips and 2016’s Weighted Mind, she’s also a six-time International Bluegrass Music Association Mandolin Player of the Year—the first woman to receive the honor. A pioneer in acoustic music, Hull has performed on iconic stages such as Carnegie Hall and the Grand Ole Opry, and she has performed at the White House. Her artistry has earned praise, and she has collaborated with legends such as Alison Krauss, Béla Fleck, and Dolly Parton. Her innovative sound is deeply rooted in bluegrass yet continually pushes boundaries.
With 2025’s A Tip Toe High Wire, her fourth studio album and first in five years, Hull stepped into a new chapter of independence and fully embraced creative freedom.
