When virtuoso traditional Irish playing jumps the pond and runs through the wide-open fields of bluegrass and Americana, JigJam is born. Their onstage energy and virtuosic musical ability have captivated audiences around the world.

The members of the quintet grew up immersed in Irish traditional music and culture. Collectively, the quintet has won more than 20 All-Ireland titles at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann competitions. They have developed a unique style of music—one they call “I-grass”—that blends traditional Irish music with bluegrass and Americana. The sharply dressed outfit delivers an energetic, foot-stomping live performance, with its members swapping banjos, guitars, fiddles, mandolins, and double bass onstage, creating an experience pleasing to both the eye and the ear.
