Francine Reed is turning 77, and together with We3 (Renee Patrick, Suzanne Lansford, and Nicole Pesce), Grammy-winning bassist Mel Brown, and internationally acclaimed drummer Dowell Davis, she’s marking the occasion with an evening of music and memories.

Born in Chicago and raised in Phoenix, Francine Reed has had a passion for singing since childhood. Between 1985 and 2021, Reed toured with Lyle Lovett as a background vocalist and performed duets with him in concert, on several albums, and on television shows. Reed has also appeared on recordings by Delbert McClinton, Willie Nelson, and Roy Orbison. She embarked on a solo career as a blues singer in 1995, bringing her soulful songs and powerful pipes along with her.
