Concert Details
Rickie Lee Jones began her meteoric rise in 1979 with the release of her star-making self-titled debut, which was quickly followed by her seminal album Pirates. Along the way, Jones won two Grammys—one for Best New Artist and another for Best Jazz Vocal Performance—for work that represented her wide range of musical influences.
Throughout her career, Jones has interpreted an extraordinarily wide range of songs and has recorded celebrated jazz-leaning albums, including Girl at Her Volcano and Pop Pop. Her latest album, Pieces of Treasure, is devoted entirely to the Great American Songbook. It reunited Jones with her lifelong friend and legendary producer Russ Titelman, who coproduced her first two records, and it was nominated for the 2024 Grammy for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album.
“A master of taking apart popular songs to see how they tick.”
Billboard
“So elementally articulate, so gifted at grasping both the rawest and the most complicatedly cooked emotions in her compositions.”
