Concert Details

Oscar- and Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Stephen Bishop is renowned for hits such as “On and On,” “It Might Be You” (the theme from Tootsie), and “Separate Lives” (the theme from White Nights). Across his prolific career, Bishop has written more than 650 songs, many of which have been recorded by an impressive roster of artists that includes Phil Collins, Barbra Streisand, and Keith Urban. He has released 19 of his own albums, including his critically acclaimed 1976 debut, Careless. His music has garnered more than 6 billion streams, and he has sold more than 15 million records worldwide, with an additional 100 million records sold by singer-songwriters who have covered his songs.

This intimate concert features stories behind the songs on Careless and is part of Bishop’s global farewell tour.

Stephen Bishop frequently lifts his songs to dreamy peaks. He possesses something that all of his singersongwriter exemplars lack: a serenely nutty sense of humor.
