Formed in 1969 by slide guitar juggernaut Lowell George, Little Feat in its current configuration features longtime multi-instrumentalist Fred Tackett and virtuoso guitarist Scott Sharrard, who brings fresh energy to the group’s classic sound. They are featured together in TrueFire’s Session Legends series and have been touring with the band in support of its 2025 album, Sam’s Place.

Stepping out from the electric swamp boogie of Little Feat and hitting the road with a couple of acoustic guitars and some great songs and stories, Tackett and Sharrard pull material from Little Feat, their own songwriting catalogues, and their own history, which includes stints with Bob Dylan and the Gregg Allman Band.
