Bassist Vincen García is one of Spain’s most influential contemporary jazz musicians, and he is one of the most prominent voices in today’s global jazz and funk scene. With more than 14 years of professional experience, García has developed a distinctive modern sound defined by groove, precision, and expressive intensity.

Born in Valencia into a musical family—his mother was a vocalist and his father a trumpeter—García was immersed in music from an early age. He is entirely self-taught and has become one of the most widely heard bassists in the world, amassing millions of streams and a substantial international following.

García has performed at major international festivals, including the Montreux Jazz Festival, North Sea Jazz Festival, and Pori Jazz Festival, and he has toured with renowned artists such as Cory Wong and Jesús Molina. His debut album, Ventura, was met with global acclaim; he will release his second album in 2026.
