Concert Details
Monsieur Periné is led by Catalina García and Santiago Prieto Sarabia, who were born and raised in Colombia. Their unique and eclectic music blends pop, jazz, and swing with Latin American sounds such as guaracha, salsa, cumbia, and bolero.
Formed in 2007, Monsieur Periné quickly established itself as one of the most innovative groups in Latin America. Their debut album, 2012’s Hecho a Mano, brought international recognition, and their follow-up, 2015’s Caja de Música, won the duo the Latin Grammy for Best New Artist. In addition to their numerous award nominations since, the group won another Latin Grammy in 2023, for Bolero Apocalíptico.
Monsieur Periné’s songs have been streamed hundreds of millions of times and topped global charts. The group has performed at major international festivals and venues around the world, including Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits, and they kicked off 2025 with a sold-out concert at Carnegie Hall. Their latest album, April’s Instrucciones Para Ser Feliz, reaffirms Monsieur Periné’s ability to evolve and reinvent themselves within contemporary Latin music.
