Elaine “Lainey” Price

6As part of MIM’s leadership team, Lainey Price supports the executive director, the founder, the board, and the advisory board. She manages the administrative office and oversees the Brand Ambassador program. She earned her Lean Six Sigma Green Belt through Arizona State University and assists with special projects and coordinating brand-related projects across the organization.

Price’s studies leaned toward arts and music. She earned a bachelor’s degree in media and production design from the London College of Printing. She started in the private sector as a graphic designer and art editor with large publishing companies in London, predominantly with Dorling Kindersley Books. She then moved into public education, earning her teaching certification in information and communication technology and managing programs in various secondary schools, including Shenley Academy in Birmingham, England.

Moving into the nonprofit sector, Price served as vice president of membership on the board of Irish Network Arizona from 2012 until 2015, before becoming the program events manager at the Irish Cultural Center and McClelland Library. She also ran her own graphic design and bakery businesses during this time and appeared on TV and radio with Jan D’Atri.

In the five years she worked in administration at the Virginia G. Piper Charitable Trust, Price received a broad overview of the socioeconomic landscape of Maricopa County and became acquainted with nonprofit leaders creating powerful change in and providing invaluable support to our community.

She enjoys spending time on creative projects with her husband.
