Indie-folk duo the Milk Carton Kids are known for their tight vocal harmonies, intricate guitar interplay, and live shows that mix precise playing with dry, off-the-cuff humor. Since their debut in 2011, they have built a global following and earned four Grammy nominations, including Best Folk Album nods for The Ash and Clay and Monterey and a Best American Roots Performance nomination for “The City of Our Lady.” They have also collaborated with artists such Sara Bareilles, Rosanne Cash, and Josh Ritter and appeared on numerous film and TV soundtracks.
