For more than 40 years, two-time Grammy winner and eighth-generation Louisiana Creole Terrance Simien has been shattering the myths about what his Indigenous zydeco roots music is and is not.

Leading his highly skilled Zydeco Experience band—which includes Danny Williams, Stan Chambers, Ian Molinaro-Thompson, Michael Christie, and Noah Boshra—Simien has become one of today’s most respected and accomplished zydeco and American roots music artists. He and his bandmates have performed nearly 10,000 concerts and have toured millions of miles to more than 45 countries during their eventful career. Their music has been placed in multiple major films, including a Disney animated film, as well as on TV shows and in radio commercials.
