Whether she is singing swinging jazz favorites, playing one of many instruments (she plays trumpet, trombone, harmonica, oboe, harp, flute, recorder, and jazz bagpipe), or juggling and tap dancing, internationally acclaimed entertainer Gunhild Carling lets her sublime showmanship shine.

Carling masterfully takes audiences back to another era, performing memorable vintage songs—including “Minnie the Moocher,” “Sweet Georgia Brown,” “All of Me,” and “It Had to Be You”—as part of her seemingly endless repertoire. When she is not touring with her own band, Carling performs as a guest musician with Postmodern Jukebox; she has been featured in the group’s swing version of “Material Girl” and hot jazz cover of ABBA’s “Dancing Queen.”
