Helping people connect and communicate through music

Jeffrey Quijano
For the past five years, PNC Bank has supported MIM, sponsoring early childhood education programs as well as other endeavors. This year, PNC Bank joined the MIM Music Theater’s Corporate Circle as a concert series sponsor, and it was the presenting sponsor of MIM’s 15th anniversary Signature Event in April. We asked Jeffrey Quijano, senior vice president and market leader at PNC Private Bank and a member of MIM’s advisory board, why PNC Bank supports MIM’s mission.
Why is supporting MIM important to PNC Bank?
PNC has supported the Musical Instrument Museum since 2020, and we have been thrilled to collaborate with MIM and bring several projects to life. PNC is committed to the communities where we live, work, and play, and we understand the critical role the arts play in the continued success, stability, and growth of our communities. Music can particularly enhance early childhood education, which is a philanthropic focus for PNC.
Why did PNC Bank choose to support the MIM Music Theater?
Supporting the concert series was a natural extension of our relationship with the museum. The arts are a powerful way to connect and communicate with one another, and we are excited to be a part of this work. MIM is an extraordinary place, and it’s a luxury to have it here in Phoenix. Apart from an extraordinary collection of musical instruments, MIM provides the community with a destination venue for world-class musicians who might not otherwise visit the area. And the intimacy of the theater is conducive to the artists’ storytelling, which provides a one-of-a-kind concert experience.
