World Choir Workshop

Raise your voice and celebrate diverse singing traditions during MIM’s World Choir Workshops! Gather with fellow guests to learn and sing a song together, then journey to the Geographic Galleries to explore the music’s heritage.

February Workshop: Learn about the South African singing tradition isicathamiya and sing Ladysmith Black Mambazo’s “Rain, Rain, Beautiful Rain.” Then take a guided visit to the South Africa exhibit in the Africa Gallery and the Banjos exhibit in the United States / Canada Gallery.
