For nearly four decades, the Rebirth Brass Band has redefined what it means to bring the vibrant spirit of New Orleans’s music to the world. Founded in 1983 by brothers Phil and Keith Frazier and their friend Kermit Ruffins, the band quickly became a sensation, blending the traditional brass sounds of the Big Easy with modern funk, jazz, soul, and hip-hop influences. Today, the Rebirth Brass Band continues to push the boundaries of brass music. In 2012, the band won the Grammy Award for Best Regional Roots Music Album for Rebirth of New Orleans, solidifying their place as both guardians of tradition and pioneers of innovation.
