Fans first came to know Peter Asher as one half of the British Invasion duo Peter & Gordon, whose 10 Top 40 hits—including the global smash “World Without Love”—cemented them in our collective consciousness. But Asher became a legend in the entertainment world as an A&R executive for the Beatles’ Apple Records and as manager and producer of James Taylor, Linda Ronstadt, Carole King, Joni Mitchell, and many more.

Songs and Stories differs from Asher’s A Musical Memoir of the ’60s and Beyond and his concerts with Jermey Clyde in that there is no video component. The emphasis is on the songs and stories that have endeared Asher to generations of fans through his music with Peter & Gordon, the great recordings he’s produced, his SiriusXM radio show, From Me to You, and the book based on it, The Beatles from A to Zed.

The show will include a Q&A with Asher, then a set of classic songs.
