Grammy-winning songwriter Paula Cole has released seven solo albums of original songs. Cole has performed with icons in many genres of music, including Peter Gabriel, Dolly Parton, Herbie Hancock, and Emmylou Harris. Her emotionally deep performances and intelligent, poetic writing separates her from the masses of contemporary music. Her songs have been covered by a diverse range of artists—including Annie Lennox, Katherine McPhee, and JoJo—and she has sold approximately 3 million albums. Her second single, the anthemic “I Don’t Want to Wait,” dominated charts for a year and was the theme song for the television show Dawson’s Creek.

On her 11^th studio album, Lo, Cole eloquently weaves the personal with the universal, the shy with the provocative. Her voice is more commanding than ever, revealing battle scars, deep wisdom, the soulfulness of gospel, the urgency of rock, and the sensitivity of folk.
