Paris Chansons is an exciting band performing French music with a global twist. The group is known for its original renditions of French favorites from Aznavour, Dassin, Piaf, Macias, Adamo, and Dalida as well as contemporary artists like Zaz. Its exhilarating performances are punctuated with Italian and Eastern European gypsy classics.

Three multilingual singers—the sultry and dynamic Julia Kantor; Russian-born singer-songwriter Jacob Kantor; and Max Cohen, who sings with a velvety tone and a North African lilt—bring an unparalleled diversity to the group’s shows. Superb musicianship anchors the ensemble, which moves effortlessly from jazzy improvisation to slow-burning balladry to blistering fervor.
