Ottmar Liebert’s global success can be attributed to his creative vision, his determination, and his strong sense of melody. Liebert founded the first incarnation of his band, Luna Negra, in 1989 and has since become one of the most successful instrumental artists of the past few decades. His unique border-style flamenco has entertained audiences around the world, and he has released a catalog of 33 classic albums that includes live recordings, an orchestral album, a binaural surround-sound recording, remix albums, an album of lullabies, and a flamenco-reggae album. Liebert has also been nominated for five Grammy Awards, and his debut album, Nouveau Flamenco, is one of the best-selling instrumental acoustic guitar albums of all time.
