Blues harmonica player and bandleader Charlie Musselwhite cut his musical teeth alongside Muddy Waters, Howlin’ Wolf, and others on the South Side of Chicago in the early 1960s. More than 50 years of nonstop performing and 20 albums later, Musselwhite is at the top of his game, a revered elder statesman of the blues telling the truth with a voice and harp tone like no other, his depth of expression as a singer and an instrumentalist unmatched and only growing deeper.

Over the course of his six-decade career, Musselwhite has released nearly 40 albums. He is renowned worldwide as a master harmonica player, a seasoned and truth-telling vocalist, and an original songwriter rooted deep within the blues tradition. As many of his fans know, he’s also a country blues guitarist of great depth, warmth, and subtlety.
