Caity Gyorgy (pronounced “George”) is an award-winning Canadian vocalist known for singing bebop and swing music. She has performed at jazz clubs and festivals across Canada, Mexico, Finland, Japan, and the United States and has worked and recorded with incredible musicians including Christine Jensen, Pat LaBarbera, Jocelyn Gould, Ira Coleman, the UMO Helsinki Jazz Orchestra, Bryn Roberts, and Joe LaBarbera, to name a few.
In addition to performing, Gyorgy is an award-winning songwriter and composes music and lyrics in the style of the Great American Songbook. Gyorgy has three Juno award-winning albums, as well as her Juno-nominated album with pianist Mark Limacher titled You’re Alike, You Two (2023). Her new album, Asking for Trouble, features the music of Frank Loesser played in a duo setting with Limacher and was released in April 2025. Her next album, Caity Gyorgy with Strings: Arranged and Conducted by Mark Limacher, will be released in August.
