Grammy, Country Music Association Award, and Americana Award winner Brandy Clark is one of her generation’s most esteemed songwriters and musicians. Her acclaimed song “Dear Insecurity,” which guest-stars 11-time Grammy winner Brandi Carlisle, won a Grammy for Best Americana Performance in 2024 and Song of the Year at the 2024 Americana Honors and Awards. The track is from Clark’s 2023 self-titled album, which was produced by Carlile and features Clark’s most personal songwriting to date.

In addition to her work as a solo artist, Clark has written songs such as “A Beautiful Noise,” Brandi Carlile and Alicia Keys’s Grammy-nominated duet; and “Follow Your Arrow,” which was a platinum-selling hit for Kacey Musgraves. Clark also composed the music for the hit musical comedy Shucked with her longtime collaborator, Shane McAnally. Shucked won Clark a Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Music in 2022, and the show was nominated for nine Tony Awards, including Best Original Score.
