Concert Details
In 2020, Italian self-taught funk guitarist Giacomo Turra started posting videos of his playing on his social media pages, collaborating with artists and influencers such as Charles Berthoud, Vincen Garcia, and Blu De Tiger and soon gaining hundreds of thousands of followers from all over the world and recognition from celebrities including Jamie Foxx, Ty Dolla Sign, and Jack Black.
In August 2022, Turra released his first original song, Get Into The Groove, and followed that with several singles, reaching over 10 million plays on streaming platforms. Over the last year, Turra has performed almost 100 headline shows and several major festivals across North America, the UK, Europe, and Asia, including Java Jazz Festival, Summerfest, and Summer Blue Note Festival before legendary jazz artist George Benson. In November 2024, he released his first signature guitar in collaboration with D’Angelico Guitars.
