Performance: Arizona School for the Arts Guitar Students 10:00 a.m. Main Courtyard Hear students from the Arizona School for the Arts perform holiday songs on their guitars.
Gallery Mini-Tours 11:00 a.m., noon, 1:30 p.m., and 2:30 p.m. Upper El Río Follow Junior Museum Guides on a short, informative tour of MIM’s galleries with a special focus on holiday celebrations from around the world.
Music-Making Workshop 11:00 a.m., noon, 1:30 p.m., and 2:30 p.m. Event Room 2 Join Junior Museum Guides for a fun, family-friendly musical activity that teaches the djembe, congas, or bongos.
Pop-Up Performance: Dickens Carolers 11:30 a.m. El Río Take a leisurely stroll up and down El Río and hear Christmas carolers singing your favorite holiday songs.
Performance: We3 12:30 p.m., Saturday Main Courtyard Listen to fantastic holiday music from renowned local jazz trio We3.
Performance: Kwanzaa Storytelling 12:30 p.m., Sunday Main Courtyard Join storyteller and musician Súle Greg Wilson in this participatory exploration of Kwanzaa traditions.
Performance: Las Palomas del Norte Handbell Ensemble 2:00 p.m. Main Courtyard Ring in the holidays with this handbell performance.
Pop-Up Performance: ’Tis the Season Music Trio—Jocelyn, Michael, and Kevin 2:45 p.m. El Río Enjoy a short set of traditional holiday songs from harpist Jocelyn Obermeyer, bassist Kevin Wyman, and singer Michael McCall.
Performance: Rural Street Klezmer Band 3:15 p.m. Main Courtyard Get in the spirit for Hannukah, the Jewish Festival of Lights, with this klezmer music performance.
