SUMMARY:Richard Shindell
DESCRIPTION:Originally from New York and now living in Buenos Aires\, Richard Shindell is a writer whose songs paint pictures\, tell stories\, juxtapose ideas and images\, and inhabit characters\, vividly evoking entire worlds along the way and expanding the listener’s sense of what a song can be. Whether he is singing lighthearted ballads and adulterous love songs\, dirges and diatribes that skillfully skewer politics\, prejudice\, war and religion\, or from the comic point of view of a cow stuck in a barbed wire fence\, Shindell has a unique ability to morph into the soul of the many and varied personalities he casts as narrators in veritable novellas framed in haunting acoustic melodies.

SUMMARY:Al Di Meola and Ensemble
DESCRIPTION:Al Di Meola is one of the top guitarists of our time. His ongoing fascination with complex rhythmic syncopation\, provocative lyrical melodies\, and sophisticated harmony have been at the heart of his music throughout a celebrated career that has spanned more than four decades. Among his myriad critical accolades are multiple Grammys and Grammy nominations\, plus 12 awards from polls conducted by Guitar Player magazine\, which inducted Di Meola into its Gallery of Greats. \nA bona fide guitar hero and prolific composer\, Di Meola has amassed more than 30 albums as a leader while collaborating on about a dozen others with the likes of the fusion supergroup Return to Forever (with Chick Corea\, Stanley Clarke\, and Lenny White)\, the celebrated acoustic Guitar Trio (featuring fellow virtuosos John McLaughlin and Paco de Lucía)\, and the Rite of Strings trio (with Clarke and violinist Jean-Luc Ponty). Though his dazzling technique has made him a hero to fretboard fanatics\, the depth of Di Meola’s writing\, along with the soulfulness and inherent lyricism of his expressive playing\, have won him a worldwide fanbase beyond the guitar aficionado set. \nEnhance your concertgoing experience with a VIP package offering a meet and greet experience.

SUMMARY:Ranky Tanky
DESCRIPTION:The soulful songs of the Gullah culture are brought to life by Ranky Tanky\, a Grammy-winning band of native South Carolinians who mix Lowcountry traditions with large doses of jazz\, gospel\, funk\, and R&B. Trumpeter Charlton Singleton\, guitarist Clay Ross\, bassist Kevin Hamilton\, and drummer Quentin Baxter are joined by the dynamic vocalist Quiana Parler. “Ranky Tanky” is a Gullah phrase that translates loosely as “Work it!” or “Get funky!” \nWith a remarkable range and vocabulary\, Grammy-winning vocalist Lisa Fischer can sing soul\, jazz\, rock\, gospel\, pop\, folk\, and classical with equal facility and authority. She sang for two decades with the legendary Luther Vandross and spent 26 years performing with the Rolling Stones. In 1991\, Fischer released So Intense; the album featured the hit single “How Can I Ease the Pain\,” which earned Fischer the first of her two Grammys. Fischer’s passion for constant growth and experimentation has led to collaborations with musical legends Sting\, Bruce Springsteen\, Michael McDonald\, Yo-Yo Ma\, and more. She was one of the musicians featured in the Oscar-winning 2013 documentary 20 Feet from Stardom.

SUMMARY:Tom Rush
DESCRIPTION:Tom Rush’s impact on American music is profound. He helped shape the folk revival in the 1960s\, and his music left its stamp on generations of artists in the folk renaissance of the 1980s and 1990s. James Taylor\, Emmylou Harris\, Tom Petty\, and Garth Brooks have all cited Rush as a major influence. His early recordings introduced the world to the work of Taylor\, Joni Mitchell\, and Jackson Browne\, and his Club 47 concerts brought attention to artists such as Nanci Griffith and Shawn Colvin. As vital and engaging as ever\, Rush is still doing what audiences love him for: writing and playing—passionately\, tenderly—and knitting together the musical traditions and talents of our times. \nRush’s most recent album\, Gardens Old\, Flowers New\, was released in 2024.
