An old musical soul proficient in the art of crafting rich sonic soundscapes.

Sixteen-year-old musical prodigy Justin Lee Schultz started playing piano at age 5. Just two weeks later, he made his debut stage performance with his father, and later that year he received an endorsement from Yamaha South Africa.
Schultz released his debut single, “My Playground,” in December 2018, and he was signed to his first label deal a year later. His first album, 2020’s Gruv Kid, debuted at number one on the iTunes Jazz chart and cracked the Top 10 of Billboard’s smooth jazz chart, making him the youngest musician to ever do so.
Schultz plays all genres of music, leaning heavily toward jazz, blues, R&B, pop, fusion, and gospel. He is currently touring with his band, which includes his sister Jamie on drums, and his father, Julius, on guitar.
Schultz’s next album, Just in the Moment, comes out September 1.
