With Ethan Iverson at the piano, any session is bound to be an excursion into the unknown, or at least the unexpected. He has the knack of making quite outrageous ideas seem perfectly logical.

Acclaimed jazz pianist Ethan Iverson is joined by vocalist Marcy Harriell for an evening of jazz and the music of Burt Bacharach.
Pianist, composer, and writer Ethan Iverson was a founding member of the Bad Plus, a game-changing collective with Reid Anderson and David King. During his 17-year tenure, TBP performed in venues as diverse as the Village Vanguard, Carnegie Hall, and Bonnaroo and collaborated with Joshua Redman, Bill Frisell, and the Mark Morris Dance Group. They also created a faithful arrangement of Igor Stravinsky’s The Rite of Spring and a radical reinvention of Ornette Coleman’s Science Fiction.
Marcy Harriell is an American actress, singer, and writer. She is best known for her appearances on Broadway, starring in the Tony Award–winning musicals In the Heights and Rent, and as the host of the fashion series Re:Fashion on NBCUniversal’s Bluprint.
