Step into the cherished Argentine tradition of the tango with a guest lecture, a beginner-friendly dance workshop, and an enchanting performance. The day will conclude with a milonga, bringing guests and performers together in a one-of-a-kind social dance.

Culture Talk: The Dance That Teaches Love

Learn about the history, culture, and music of the tango, the iconic dance from Argentina and Uruguay. Hear from Judah Page, dancer and teacher at Tango Arizona, and local bandoneón player and maker, Mauro Segura.

Experience a lively performance of tango with dancers and musicians from Tango Arizona, followed by an introductory dance class and an opportunity to participate in a “mini” milonga, the social dance party of Argentine tango culture!
