SUMMARY:Tuck and Patti
DESCRIPTION:For nearly 50 years\, the unique genre-crossing guitar-and-voice duo of Tuck Andress and Patti Cathcart has cast its passionate musical spell\, capturing the hearts of lovers\, the respect of jazz buffs\, and the awe of guitarists and singers worldwide. Their recording career took off in 1988 with the groundbreaking Tears of Joy. Thirteen albums later\, Tuck and Patti have toured the world\, appearing alongside Miles Davis\, Count Basie\, George Benson\, Chick Corea\, Herbie Hancock\, and many others. \nTuck and Patti have long been regarded by musicians and critics as the standard for the improvising musical duo. Their music spans rock\, pop\, jazz\, gospel\, blues\, folk\, and classical—but inevitably it sounds like Tuck and Patti.

SUMMARY:Simon Phillips and Protocol 6
DESCRIPTION:Simon Phillips is one of the world’s most renowned and respected drummers. His style reflects not only his technical gift but also his distinct musical sensibility. Whether he is playing rock\, fusion\, or jazz\, Phillips applies the same precision and intensity to his drumming\, which is never lacking in emotion and feel. \nThroughout the 1970s and ’80s\, Phillips worked with rock bands and artists including Jeff Beck\, Judas Priest\, and the Who. Following Jeff Porcaro’s death in 1992\, he joined Toto. After leaving the group in 2014\, Phillips ventured into fusion and progressive rock as a drummer and producer. His long-running fusion project Protocol releases Protocol 6 in June. The group currently features keyboardist Otmaro Ruiz\, guitarist Alexander Sill\, saxophonist Phillip Whack\, and bassist Ernest Tibbs.

SUMMARY:The Steel Wheels
DESCRIPTION:The Steel Wheels have long been at home in the creative space between tradition and innovation\, informed by the familiar sounds of Virginia’s Blue Ridge Mountains\, where the band was formed\, but always moving forward with insightful lyrics and an evolving sound. Jay Lapp (vocals\, guitars\, mandolin)\, Eric Brubaker (vocals\, fiddle)\, and Trent Wagler (lead vocals\, guitar\, banjo) formed the group in 2005; the trio released several albums under Wagler’s name before officially adopting the Steel Wheels moniker in 2010. Kevin Garcia (drums\, percussion\, keys) joined in 2017\, bringing a new level of sonic depth and polish to the outfit. Newest member Jeremy Darrow rounds out the rhythm section and grounds the band\, which explores deeply rooted yet fresh folk-rock sounds.

SUMMARY:Andrew Walesch and His Orchestra
DESCRIPTION:MIM Music Theater artistic director Andrew Walesch is proud to present his newest show: Vegas 1960\, a celebration of the golden age of the Las Vegas showroom featuring all-new\, custom-commissioned arrangements for Walesch’s 10-piece orchestra by acclaimed arranger Mike Crotty. \nIncluding timeless standards and soulful classics\, Vegas 1960 captures an era when style\, swagger\, and world-class musicianship defined the stage—when the orchestra was swinging\, the lights were low\, and every night felt like an event. The program brings the iconic songs of legends such as Frank Sinatra\, Sammy Davis Jr.\, Bobby Darin\, and Ray Charles to life through fresh\, sophisticated arrangements. \nA celebrated vocalist and pianist\, Walesch has earned recognition for his expressive interpretations\, engaging stage presence\, and deep connection to the Great American Songbook. His performances have been featured on NPR’s nationally syndicated Mountain Stage\, and he was invited to appear at the 33rd Annual New York Cabaret Convention at Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Rose Theater.

SUMMARY:Classic Albums Live
DESCRIPTION:Classic Albums Live brings note-for-note precision and electrifying energy to The Beatles (a.k.a. The White Album)\, faithfully re-creating every track from the legendary double LP by the Beatles with meticulous attention to detail and world-class musicianship. This concert experience captures the spirit\, nuance\, and experimentation that made the 1968 release a landmark in music history. Hear this groundbreaking album performed live in its entirety\, including the raw grit of “Helter Skelter\,” the driving energy of “Back in the U.S.S.R.\,” and the intimate beauty of “Blackbird” and “Julia.”
