Bob Weston is the chief financial officer of Alliance Residential Company, one of the largest multifamily acquisitions, development, construction, and management companies in the United States. He leads capital markets strategy related to investments of the firm, which is headquartered in Phoenix and has thirty-five regional offices nationwide. Additionally, he oversees the company’s financial administration and risk management activities.
Prior to assuming the CFO position, Weston was the managing director of the Southeast division of Alliance, where he was responsible for sourcing and executing new development opportunities in Georgia, Tennessee, and North and South Carolina. He has also held various roles within the real estate group at SunTrust Bank, most recently serving as senior credit officer for the Special Assets Division in Georgia and Tennessee. He is an active member of the National Multifamily Housing Council and the Urban Land Institute, where he serves on the Multifamily Bronze Council.
Weston received his bachelor of arts degree from Washington and Lee University in Virginia and his MBA from Emory University in Georgia, where he graduated with honors. Aside from being a member of the advisory board of the Musical Instrument Museum, he also serves on the Men’s Arts Council at the Phoenix Art Museum and is president of the Phoenix chapter of the Washington and Lee Alumni Association.
