Bob Weston is the chief financial officer of Alliance Residential Company and leads the capital markets strategy related to the firm’s investments. Under Weston’s leadership, Alliance has raised $20 billion in multifamily capital, representing more than 83,000 units. He also oversees the company’s financial administration and risk management activities.

Before becoming CFO, Weston was the managing director of the Southeast Division for Alliance, where he was responsible for sourcing and executing new development opportunities in Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina, and South Carolina. He has also held various roles within the real estate group at SunTrust Bank; he most recently served as senior credit officer for the special assets division in Georgia and Tennessee. In addition to participating on the audit committee of the National Multifamily Housing Council, he is also a member of the Urban Land Institute, where he is on the leadership team for the Multifamily Bronze Council. In Phoenix, he serves as chairman of the board of directors of the Musical Instrument Museum and is an active member of the Scottsdale Charros.

Weston received a bachelor’s degree from Washington and Lee University and an MBA from Emory University, where he graduated with honors.
