David Falck is executive vice president, general counsel, and secretary of Pinnacle West Capital Corporation and its primary subsidiary, Arizona Public Service (APS) Company. He is responsible for overseeing all facets of the company’s legal affairs as well as the corporate secretary function.

Falck joined Pinnacle West in 2009 and has more than thirty years of experience as a legal advisor to public and private companies. Prior to joining Pinnacle West, he was senior vice president for legal affairs of Public Service Enterprise Group (PSEG) and, before that, was a partner in the New York office of the national law firm Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP, where he served on the managing board and as cohead of its national corporate and securities practice group.

Aside from serving on the advisory board of the Musical Instrument Museum in Phoenix, Falck is also a member of the boards of directors of Amphenol Corporation, a publicly held, global manufacturing company in the electronics supply chain; the National Association of Manufacturers; and the Northern Arizona University Foundation.

Falck graduated magna cum laude from Colgate University and earned his law degree (summa cum laude) from Washington and Lee University’s School of Law. He is a member of Phi Beta Kappa, Order of the Coif, andOmicron Delta Kappa.
