Bruce Tominello had a career at Target Corporation that spanned more than twenty-six years, beginning in 1976 when there were only forty-seven stores. During that time, he served in many merchandising positions in various departments, such as women’s and children’s apparel and accessories as well as in the home division, sourcing product and traveling extensively in Europe and Asia. In his final assignment as senior brand manager, he was tasked with the responsibility for the development and rollout of Target’s private label food strategy.

Since his retirement, Tominello has worked with manufacturers and retailers in product development and marketing strategy. For the past nine years, he was a docent and certified interpretive guide at the Living Desert Zoo and Gardens in Palm Desert, California, where he also served on the Scholarship and Annual Gala Committees.

Tominello holds a bachelor of arts degree in stagecraft and lighting design from the University of Pittsburgh.
