MIM and the Phoenix Symphony present Steven Moeckel in Recital

The 2016–2017 chamber series concludes with a recital by Phoenix Symphony concertmaster Steven Moeckel. Performing on his 1840 Jean-Baptiste Vuillaume violin, Moeckel will play the instantly recognizable Franck Violin Sonata, with its soaring melodies and triumphant closing movement. He is joined by fellow Phoenix Symphony musicians for the Elgar Piano Quintet, which features cyclical melodies that range from wistful to valedictory.
