ELIGIBILITY

Internships at MIM are open to current college students (graduate and undergraduate) enrolled in an accredited degree program. Select internships may also be open to recent graduates; the specific job description will identify the eligibility requirements. MIM will consider students with freshman or sophomore status; however, priority will be given to undergraduate students completing their junior or senior year and postgraduate students.

DURATION

Internships typically last for a complete semester; however, certain projects and internship positions may have a shorter or longer term. The specific job description will identify the duration of the internship. The manager and intern will work together to establish a work schedule that fits the needs of the department and the intern’s schedule.

COMPENSATION AND COURSE CREDIT

All interns will be compensated at the current minimum wage, $7.90/hour. Internships may or may not be eligible for college credit, based on the various college/university guidelines; it is the intern’s responsibility to make sure the internship meets these guidelines.
